After completing High School, she embarked on a six-month professional training program in Database Technology at IPMC in Ghana. The Birth of WhatsApp Market and Courier Services

In June 2017, Abena birthed an ingenious idea – WhatsApp Market and Courier Services. Her vision was to bridge the gap between education and earning for young students, allowing them to pursue their dreams without sacrificing their education. Abena leveraged the power of WhatsApp and social media to connect students, small business owners, and brands, facilitating a vibrant marketplace where products changed hands seamlessly.

Awards and Recognition

Abena’s entrepreneurial spirit quickly gained recognition. In just one year, she earned nominations for four prestigious awards in 2018, including Overall Entrepreneur of the Year and Most Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year. Her dedication didn’t stop there; she also excelled in a three-month incubator program organized by the World Business Angels Investment Forum.

A Heart for Education and Giving Back

In 2019, Abena hosted her first summit, “Finding Your Purpose,” which inspired her to establish the Education Hub Ghana NGO. This organization aimed to provide essential stationery to underprivileged children, ensuring that no child had to endure the hardships she faced during her own education journey.

Ambassador of Change

Abena’s commitment to education extended beyond borders. In 2020, she enrolled at Curtin University Malaysia, where she became a student ambassador, helping fellow students navigate university life. She didn’t just stop there; in 2021, Abena embarked on a mission to donate 250 school bags to children in underprivileged communities, combating the stigma attached to these areas and emphasizing that every child deserves access to quality education.

International Leadership

Abena’s leadership skills also shone brightly. From January 2022 to May 2023, she served as the President of the Curtin Malaysia Student Council, becoming the first African female international student to hold this prestigious position.

Asian Youth Leader and Peace Advocate

In February 2023, Abena Yeboah’s global impact continued to grow. She was selected to participate in the Asian Youth Leaders Travel and Learning Camp 2023 in Singapore, becoming the second African to join over 200 Asian youths. Her exceptional leadership qualities earned her the most creative and outstanding youth leader awards.

Global Peace Advocate

Abena’s journey took her to Nepal in July 2023, where she participated in the Young Professionals Fellowship by the Global Peace Chain. Here, she engaged in discussions on peace and leadership, embodying her commitment to making the world a better place.
